6th Grade Owning Up

In 2004, Rebecca Sneider attended a training called Empower, now called Owning Up, led by Rosalind Wiseman, the author of Queen Bees and Wannabes.  The curriculum has been used since Fall 2004 with the 6th grade to address social dynamics that are common in this age group.   Students engage in discussions and activities related to navigating social status and how to make good choices when social pressures increase. For information about the program including some sample lessons, click here.
Please note, that the curriculum is modified for this age group.
