Welcome to the Runkle Guidance Website!  Here you will find information about the services provided by the Runkle School Guidance Office as well as information about resources within and around the Brookline community.

What does a Guidance Counselor do?

Guidance Counselors work with students, teachers, parents and administrators to assist in the overall well-being of students.  Some examples are:

  • Consultation to teachers and parents and work with students one-on-one and/or in groups to assist whatever challenges they might be facing.

  • Leading classroom lessons regarding social/emotional learning.

  • Helping administrators and teachers prepare balanced classes and transition the students from one grade to another.

Guidance counselors can offer continuity for students and families.  We are always there when you need us!
